Bankokubashi (Bridge)


The Bankokubashi is an arch bridge crossing a canal on the way from Bashamichi to Shinko Area.

It is an old bridge made of concrete which does not have such features at first glance, but in the past it used to play its role in the international trade of Yokohama Port as a point of contact between the Shinko Pier and the mainland. There are facilities such as refurbished bonded warehouse in the surroundings, and the remnant of the time is kept.
